An affiliate program is a marketing arrangement where your website posts a banner, text ad, review, etc., that links to an online merchant's website. When your visitors click the link and make a purchase from the online merchant's website, you receive a commission on the sale. Does it cost anything to join an affiliate program? Nope. A cookie is technology that works with web browsers to store information like user preferences, login information, etc. For affiliate programs, cookies are used to track when a visitor to your site clicks on a link or banner and then follows that link and makes a purchase. This identifies you as the referrer of the sale and you get paid a commission.

EPC stands for Earnings Per Hundred Clicks. For example, a program with a $50 EPC would mean on average that for every 100 visitors a website refers, the affiliate earns $50 in commission.

The brands in the Deluxe Affiliate Program are offered through ShareASale and/or Commission Junction. You must become a member of one of the networks in order to participate in our program. If you are already a member of both networks, you must choose to join our program through only one network.

Please note: Including details about the marketing strategy for your website in your application will increase your chances of being accepted into the program. We will review your application and notify you of your approval status. Once approved, you can begin to link your site to our merchant site(s) and start to generate commissions.

The main thing is to not alter the links from the networks. Doing so may prevent our ability to track and give credit for orders generated from your site. There is no limit on the number of links you set up to connect your website to any or all of our merchant sites. You must also abide by the Deluxe affiliate terms and conditions regarding ad placement, PPC bidding, etc.

Participation in the Deluxe Affiliate Program may actually complement your existing site by allowing you to integrate banner links in appropriate places to add value for your customers. One suggestion might be to frequently update or rotate banner ads and other creative materials in order to maintain optimal effectiveness.

The Commission Junction and ShareASale networks offer multiple online reports with information that's updated in real-time to make it simple to keep track of the impressions, click-throughs, orders, and commissions you've earned. You can actually determine the effectiveness of each link and see which products your visitors are buying. Run as many reports as you want, whenever you want.
